Altitude Simulation Technologies was founded in 2003 to provide innovative altitude simulation systems for sport horses and research institutions that employ non-invasive animal research models. AST is a wholly owned subsidiary of Colorado Altitude Training (www.altitudetraining.com) which has been the World leader in altitude simulation technology since 1997.
Guided by our Board of Medical advisors, AST has developed the only altitude simulation training system specifically for horses that blends seamlessly with any type of training protocol for equine athletes. AST has made a commitment to the equine sporting community to provide the most effective, safe, and natural altitude training systems available. Our group is comprised of leading scientists in altitude research, sports medicine, atmospheric sciences, and exercise physiology that direct our efforts to insure the highest quality and consistent performance in accordance with the latest knowledge of altitude physiology. The Equine Night Time Advantage System represents the culmination of over two years of cross functional research and development combining the knowledge of equine veterinarians, exercise physiologists, trainers, and environmental engineers.
